How do I earn points?

Earn points when shopping at:

• Macy’s stores
• macys.com
• Macy’s Backstage

Excludes: gift cards, services, and fees

When will my points show up?

• In store: Immediately
• Online or phone orders: When your order ships
• Furniture/mattresses: After delivery
• Presale items: When finalized

When will I get Star Money?

Once you reach 1,000 points, you’ll receive $10 inStar Money:

• Email notification (if subscribed)
• Printed on your store receipt
• Automatically added to your Wallet

When can I use Star Money?

• Use it immediately after it’s issued
• Valid for 30 days

Expiration & Returns

Do points or Star Money expire?

Points expire if:

• Your Macy’s Credit Card is closed, or
• You make no qualifying purchases for 12 months

Star Money expires:

• 30 days after issuance
• Automatically removed from your Wallet

What happens if I return an item?

If you used Star Money:

• Refunded as:
  • Macy’s Happy Returns Gift Card, or
  • Merchandise-only certificate

If you earned points:

• Points are removed from your balance
• Star Money may be reduced based on returned points
