If you don’t have an online account:

1. Visit macys.com/mystarrewards and select Create an Account.
2. Complete the account setup.
3. Select Already a member? to link your Star Rewards membership.
4. Follow the prompts based on your membership type:
   • Macy’s Cardholders: Add your Macy’s Credit Card or Macy’s American Express® Card.
   • Bronze members: Enter the phone number and birthday associated with your membership.

If you already have an online account:

1. Go to macys.com/mystarrewards and sign in.
2. Select Already a member? to link your Star Rewards membership.
3. Follow the prompts:
   • Macy’s Cardholders: Add your Macy’s Credit Card or Macy’s American Express® Card.
   • Bronze members: Enter your phone number and birthday.

To view your information:

• Sign in or create a Macy’s account
• Add your Star Rewards membership or Macy’s Credit Card to your Wallet

Star Rewards members earn points when shopping at Macy’s, macys.com, and Macy’s Backstage, excluding gift cards, services, and fees. Members may also earn additional points during Star Money Bonus Days.

• Every 1,000 points earned = $10 in Star Money
• Star Money is valid for 30 days
• Points and Star Money can be tracked at macys.com/mystarrewards

In‑store purchases (Macy’s & Macy’s Backstage): Points are issued immediately after purchase.

Online and phone orders: Points are issued when the order ships.

Pre‑sale items: Points are issued once the purchase is finalized.

Delivered items (furniture, mattresses, etc.): Points are issued when the item is delivered and accepted.

Once you earn $10 in Star Money:

• You’ll receive an email notification (if enrolled in Macy’s emails)
• A notice prints on your store receipt (if purchased in store)
• Star Money appears automatically in your Wallet

Star Money can be used immediately after issuance and is valid for 30 days.

There are four Star Rewards status levels:

• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold
• Platinum

Customers without a Macy’s Credit Card are Bronze members. New Macy’s Credit Cardholders start at Silver status.

Upgrades are based on annual qualifying Macy’s Credit Card purchases:

• Silver: $1–$499.99
• Gold: $500–$1,199.99
• Platinum: $1,200+

Status upgrades occur automatically within 7 days of meeting spend requirements (after returns). Status is reviewed each January for the new calendar year.

Yes. Only qualifying purchases made with a Macy’s Credit Card count toward Silver, Gold, or Platinum status.

Star Rewards points:

Points expire if:

• Your Macy’s Credit Card is closed, or
• You make no qualifying purchases for 12 consecutive months

Star Money:

Star Money expires 30 days after issuance and will automatically be removed from your Wallet after expiration.

If you return an item purchased using Star Money, the Star Money portion will be refunded as a:

• Macy’s Happy Returns Gift Card, or
• Merchandise‑Only Certificate

Points earned on returned items are removed from your balance. If insufficient points remain:

• Outstanding Star Money may be reduced by $0.01 per point
• If all points and Star Money are depleted, the return value may be reduced accordingly

If you believe rewards are missing, inaccurate, or not applying correctly, please contact Customer Care at 1‑800‑289‑6229 (TTY: 711).

Before calling, verify that:

• Rewards weren’t impacted by a return
• Star Money hasn’t expired

Customer Care may request receipt or order details.

Yes. Macy’s Cardholders earn points on every purchase. Non‑cardholders can enroll as Bronze members in store, online, or through the Macy’s app.

Thanks for Sharing was discontinued in 2020. Star Rewards replaced it with a free program that allows customers to earn rewards on every purchase, access Star Money Bonus Days, enjoy exclusive perks, and receive birthday surprises.
