What is Macy’s Money?
 

Macy’s Money Reward Cards are promotional rewards you earn during select events when you make qualifying purchases. You can use them on a future purchase during the designated redemption period.

How does Macy’s Money work?
 

1. Shop: Shop during the earn period and qualify for a reward based on your purchase amount.

 

2. Earn:

  • Spend $50–$99.99 → earn $10
  • Spend $100–$149.99 → earn $20
  • Spend $150–$199.99 → earn $30
  • Spend $200+ → earn $40

 

Maximum: $40 in Macy’s Money per transaction

 

3. Redeem: Use your Macy’s Money during the redemption period in store or on macys.com.

When can I earn and redeem Macy’s Money?
 
  • Earn period: Dates announced per event
  • Redeem period: Dates listed on your Macy’s Money Reward Card

 

More about Macy’s Money

Macy’s Money can be used on most merchandise.

 

Restrictions:

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Cannot be used to purchase gift cards
  • Cannot be applied to a Macy’s Credit Card balance

Excludes:

  • Tech (including watches, jewelry, accessories)
  • Macy’s Backstage
  • Beauty Box subscriptions
  • Scan & Pay purchases
  • Gift cards
  • Furniture, mattresses, rugs
  • Services & fees
  • Sales tax
  • Leased departments / third-party sellers
  • Restaurants
  • International orders
  • E-gifting
  • Online backorders

If you return an item that earned Macy’s Money:

  • Your reward value may be reduced
  • Your refund amount may also be adjusted

 

Your remaining Macy’s Money balance reflects the updated qualifying spend.

No. Macy’s Money Reward Cards:

  • Are not replaceable
  • Do not include proof of purchase
  • Are the responsibility of the cardholder

  • Ask a Store Colleague in store
  • Your purchase receipt will show any remaining balance

    • Macy’s Money appears as “EGC” (Electronic Gift Card)
    • It may show $0.00 until your order ships
    • After shipment, the applied amount will update

    • You can store up to 20 Macy’s Money Reward Cards
