Orders Arriving in Multiple Shipments

Sometimes items in an order ship separately. Here’s why that happens, what to expect, and how billing and tracking work.

About Orders That Ship in Multiple Packages

Your order may arrive in more than one package if:

  • One or more items are temporarily unavailable
  • Items ship from different fulfillment centers
  • An item ships directly from a vendor or seller

If your order is split into multiple shipments, you’ll receive a confirmation email showing:

  • The expected ship date for each package
  • Which items are included in each shipment

You may receive items on different days.

You won’t be charged extra when items ship separately:

  • No additional shipping fees
  • Shipping cost from checkout is split across shipments
  • You’re charged only when each shipment ships
  • The original authorization hold remains until all shipments are completed
