I replaced another version that I broke with this one, but I’m not as happy as the previous model, another brand, came on as you opened it where this one you have to press a tiny button; not great for arthritic fingers.

Very convenient

I have a digital thermometer that I can set and leave in cooking meat in the oven but it takes time to set up to check the temperature of stovetop food. Also, there are foods that are shallow or difficult to leave a device hooked up while making multiple dishes. This is perfect to just pull the probe and stick it in my food and the temp comes up. Couldn't be easier.

I like it, even if it took a little getting used to. It seems to work a little different from the instructions. Either way I got the hang of it and all is well now. And, yes, I would recommend. That is if my child doesn't come along and borrow it.

Surprisingly Accurate Meat Thermometer

Surprisingly accurate and useful tool. The old manual thermometer had stopped working and this replacement worked great. It is easy to use for chicken and small to medium roasts. Received the response quickly on temperature and thermometer returns to 0 automatically.
