Quality Not There

I just received this beautiful breadboard and unfortunately the quality of the wood board is lacking. I thought based on the pictures that it was a solid board but mine is 2 pieces of wood put together and you can feel where the board was attached and it’s quite rough. Maybe I got a defective one.
