A must!

Expensive..yes! Worth it…absolutely! I have had my fair share of security cameras around my house but the Ring Spotlight Cam is the best one thus far. The video quality is very clear and the sound has no static. You can hear everything perfect. It is very easy to set up and the app is very user friendly. I receive a notification that there is motion, a vehicle driving by or that someone is at my front door immediately. I definitely recommend purchasing an extra battery or two because if you’re anything like me, you’re going to forget to charge it.

A must have!

I love the ring spotlight cam plus’s! I have one for my driveway and for my backyard. Both are mounted on my house. They were easy to install. The camera quality is great and it captures anyone who comes into the camera. I have the solar panel for both so they are always charged and I don’t have to deal with taking them down to charge them. The app is super easy to navigate as well. I highly recommend!

Battery is awful

The battery is horrible, and constantly having to recharge it. Was not a good purchase, granted when it works we can see clearly but the battery doesn’t last and it takes too much time to constantly have to charge the battery so we dont. We didnt have the ability to wire it. So frustrated and a waste of money.

The camera that gets it all!

This camera is great! It has a bright light that turns on as soon as anything comes within a certain amount of feet that set the perimeters to. It does well in all weather types and was super easy to mount! The app is great. It even allows me to set off the siren manually if I wanted to. Best decision I ever made!

Great features!

I bought his camera a while ago to help us see the driveway and front door area. It’s incredibly easy to install. The camera quality is clear even in the night time. There is a light on it that helps add extra vision!

Another great option to add

This new model is another great option to add to the system of ring cams around the house. This one is great to have because virtually all house spotlights with or without a camera are hardwired. This one is battery operated so it opens up so many more options on where you can use it. It's great that you can just change out the battery pack with another charged up one instead of having to take the whole camera down to recharge or putting Alkaline batteries in it. The video quality and spotlight options are great like any Ring cam but the portability is the selling point for me.

Love the extra protection

We have both the ring door bell for our front door and now this spotlight cam for our backyard. We love being able to check in when we’re at work or away from home. Our backyard is open and we’ve had problems with people coming into our yard. Thankfully we had a place to put our camera already as our houses previous owner had a different camera up. Instillation and set up was a breeze. We love that is has a light that pops on when it detects motion and that we can talk through it and set off an alarm. It adds a level of safety that we really appreciate. The camera sees a very wide area so our entire yard can be seen (though at night we can’t see the back half since we have an acre, which is fine with us). The quality is okay but do wish is was a little better. Any movement makes the object a bit blurry and sometimes can be hard to tell what it is. Does okay with people. The settings are completely customizable to your preferences which is extremely helpful. Overall love this camera!

I absolutely love this camera, ring has such amazing camera details and capabilities I have since bought two additional cameras. Safety is no longer a concern for my family, I highly recommend ring products in general
