Sizing slightly off

The sizing is slightly off according to the size chart. I bought a large and it fits, but it’s a little snug. I’m a size 14. Looking at the chart an XL is supposed to be size 18-20, which is absolutely absurd. It’s got to be closer to a size 14-16. Otherwise it’s super cute and good material. I am buying another one, just sizing up.
