Did not care for the fit on me

I got this in black. I tried it on 3 times because I liked it over all. I'm 5'2" and like a top that covers my tummy which is does. The sleeves are nice and roomy and I like the lace up detail but...if the laces aren't tight I've got major cleavage showing. I would have had to safety pin it or sew it closed. It looked more A lined in the picture but on me it looked pretty boxy. I normally wear an XL or 1X depending and I got the 16. I think that's the right size for me but because I'm apple shaped I felt self conscience about my waist/tummy. I was worried if it shrunk it might be too tight. It has stretch which is nice. I think it's a nice top for the right body, just not mine. If it had been less expensive I might have kept it though. Returned.
