Too loud!

This iron can’t be new. The paper that it was wrapped with was shredded. It makes a loud gurgling sound! It glides smooth on the clothes. But I don’t trust to keep this one. I will trade for a “brand new one”.

Do not order Macy’s will send you a used

I ordered the iron off-line. The first one Macy’s sent had previously been opened and returned, obviously used. I called and was promised they would send me a new one and apologized. However; the second iron was even worse than the first. It had obviously been used and returned as well. Item was returned after they said they could not guarantee I would not get a used unit.

Heavy but powerful.

Steam function is NUTS! This thing is heavy but super powerful and heats up quickly. I like this better than my old "steam only" device because even if I'm not work on the ironing board, being able to press the iron into hanging clothes im steaming seems to preserve the flatness a little better.
