Cheap rug

I am glad I got it on sale because paying full price would not have been worth it. It's a cheap rug. You can see the mat underneath the threads. It did have a chemical smell. I hung it outside for a couple of days and it's not noticeable indoors now.

A reminder of the Ocean

The color is wonderful, matches the various shades of blue in our room, and reminds us of bohemian life by the sea. We did purchase from another dealer a cushiony pad for underneath, which made our barefoot experience delightful.

Smells and it’s thin

This shag rug is quite thin and not plush like other shag rugs I have. I assumed it will be really thick and warm but definitely not the case. Also, it has a very strong chemical odor that is lingering in the room. I don’t have a place to air it out.
