Well made but shoebox mislabeled

The shoes look good and are nicely finished. I ordered 8 Wide. The box the shoes came in is labeled Wide, but the shoes are merely Medium width per the inside label on the shoes. I had hoped for comfortable shoes that wouldn’t pinch. The 8W shoes I ordered online are not what I received. There appears to be a quality control problem with the manufacturer and marketing.

Comfy, But...

When I wear these to work, I feel like I'm wearing slippers. They're very comfortable on the bottom of my feet. I did go a half size up based on other reviews and I'm glad I did, as the strap are across the top of the foot is a bit snug even now. For reference I have average width feet. My only complaint is that I have a hard time finding no show socks for this style of shoe. I hate nylons. I want real socks. Obviously the right style socks exist but the ones I purchased have a seam all around the top of the toes and foot. That seam combines with the squeezing seam of the shoe to feel like there's a marble digging into my big toe. No sock, no pain. So until I find no show socks without a seam, I can't wear these. I am determined! I do like them a lot.

Ordered these in store locally no less because 8W was not available. What came in .... 8M. Which I already had tried on. Definitely disappointed because 2nd shipment to not meet standard.
