Beautiful Lace but Overwhelming for a Petite

The lace on this dress is high quality and absolutely beautiful. However, even in XS, the baby-doll style runs quite wide and overwhelmed my petite frame (5'1", 116 lbs). The length also felt a bit long—it hit mid-knee, and a shorter cut would likely be more flattering. Sizing down might help with the fit, but there are no zippers or buttons, which could make it harder to put on.
