Shockingly bad

Falling apart right out of the packaging, and only just a step above a disposable tablecloth. The polyester is so cheap and badly creased, but even a cool iron would ruin it further. Where the stitching isn’t falling out it overruns the borders at a ridiculous angle. I can’t believe these are stocked at Bloomingdale’s - just avoid!

attractive and easy-care

This tablecloth was perfect for Thanksgiving dinner. The photos don't show that there is a subdued, allover repeat tone-on-tone scroll motif that dances across the white portion of the cloth. (The online photos only appear to show a turkey border on what appears to be a solid white background.) I washed and dried the tablecloth beforehand with no issues -- be sure to use some steam in the iron -- and it laundered well after the meal as well. It is easy-care polyester with a nice hand.
