The shoulders of the bottle round out to form a heart, symbolizing heartfelt declarations. The Déclaration bottle has been redesigned to reduce the weight of glass. It is also now refillable thanks to the 200 ml refill (sold separately), which is only compatible with the new Déclaration de Cartier bottles.

Ehhh

Originally received the sample of this with another purchase and really liked the smell which made me buy this. After receiving it and wearing the cologne I started having 2nd guesses, I wasn't enjoying the smell much as to the sample. The smell gets annoying real quick for me and it's strong so it's tough to escape.

A unique and deep scent

I am so glad I discovered the Cartier line of fragrances a couple of years ago. Declaration and Pasha are my favorites.

great smell that lingers

Top notes consist of bergamot and orange (very strong first impression). As the top notes subsides, the base notes come alive-- earthy rosewood, coriander, patchouli, and I think oakmoss. Summer fragrance-- it's earthy and fresh. But very distinctive, so it's not for everyone.
