Too Small

Sizing is off. It runs small especially in the sleeves. I wouldn't be able to wear a sweatshirt or a sweater under the jacket without it feeling too tight.

very thick and warm, but long

I lost my last North face jacket and was looking for the exact one which does not exist. This one was as close as I could fine, it's a lot thicker and longer. Great if you are in a very cold environment. But my last one was warm enough to keep me warm everywhere but also squeeze into my suitcase on a trip or wrap around my waist. I want my old one back, but this will do.

Solid Purchase, High quality coat

High quality, seems to be quite warm. Love the color, will match any outfit. True to size but is fitted so as other reviews mention, if you have wide hips, size up if you want to be more roomy or fit bigger clothes underneath. Top is also fitted through the arms so you wouldnt be able to fit a full size hoody or chunky sweater under. Still happy with my purchase and will work for the less hard-core winter days.
