Not really boy shorts

I’ve been wearing Maidenform boy shorts for many years and think of them as mini boxer shorts. The leg opening of these is much smaller with tighter elastic. Not nearly as comfortable. They show a “panty line” while the others do not. Very disappointed.

New favorite underwear

I typically like cotton boy shorts, but the brand I used to buy are no longer available. So, I went on the hunt for a replacement and found these. Although they’re not cotton, I like them a lot. My pants slip over them more easily so they don’t bunch up; they are pretty much undetectable under my workout pants; they don’t ride up onto my butt cheeks; they’re not too low cut; they’re sturdy, but thin enough to not be bulky; and they’re comfortable. What more could you want? The price was a no-brainer, too. if I bought multiples, the price went down considerably. BTW, the elastic between your butt cheeks is not even noticeable while wearing them. Not sure of the point, but it is totally fine.

Replacing the maiden form microfiber boyshort

I wore the microfiber boy shorts for well over a decade and for a few years they haven’t fit properly so I thought I would give these a try. For me the modern boyshort is my new favorite.

Ruched! But wrong fabric.

Pros: Ruched! Back seam, no VPL Cons: Ruching needs to be along the entire back seam; ruching should be more substantial. Fabric needs to be cotton stretch, or, at the very least, rayon/modal. Cotton is essential!
