Gone downhill

I have run in nike tempo shorts for decades, and sadly the quality has gone downhill. Last year I bought several new pairs, and kept having to adjust things while running. Thought it might be me, wore old shorts, no issues. Lined up some shorts by their liners to compare old vs. new, and found the problem! New liners are MUCH smaller in the butt region, and the elastic is not nearly as springy.
