Buyer beware

I received the item well packaged but when I removed it I was shocked how dark it was compared to the online photos. This is a very dark walnut finish. Brownish black. It's a laminate finish and one of the pieces had a minor scratch right out of the box. I'm disappointed.

Not happy that front doors on one side do not meet. Otherwise we like the piece. I sent photos to the manufacturer and have heard nothing .
