Material good for lounging top at home, not public

I was surprised at this faux, silk, polyester material [cheap?]. I thought would be a nice tunic top over legging for an evening out. NOT. Definitely an at home material. I didn't catch this in the reviews. Plus, the SM was too large for my 5'1" 105lb frame
