Wider than usual

Cole Haan shoes usually run narrow for me, but I decided to try these in red as I've been looking for cute red sandals for a long time. Yes, they're super expensive, even with a coupon I used, but they were one of the few red sandals that was close to the style that I was looking for. Surprisingly, they were wide enough to fit my flat wide feet. My usual size 8 fit fine (I can fit into 8M or 8W, depending on the style). My right foot is slightly bigger than my left, and also has a slight bunion, so the left sandal did feel slightly bigger than the right. The strap covered my bunion, so there were some discomfort, but I felt that if I practiced walking in them inside the house enough, that the leather would've stretched. The only thing? The shade of red didn't look good on me so had to return :(
