Flip Flop

These are true to size. I wear an 8 and ordered an 8, perfect fit. The width is normal not to skinny or wide. The footbed has a lot of cushion, perfect for walking around in and the top seems to give just enough to flex and not dig in to the top of the foot. The reason I give four stars is the noise of the shoe when walking, They are a bit on the heavy side so as you are walking they are hitting the bottom of your foot causing a loud flip flop sound. I cannot stand the sound of them so I returned them. If you can get by on the flip flop sound then these shoes are nice. That is the only issue I had with these.

Not the same, but still an exercise sandal

This is not the original shoe--the sole is not wood, but composite. However, it is soft and still has some arch support and a ridge under the toes, so is still an exercise sandal. Is also lighter than the original shoe. I like it--I loved the original shoe, but this one is good too. I am going to buy a couple more pairs.

Better Than the Originals

I wore these slides for years with the original wood bottoms. Now that I’m older, I gave these a try. I like that they are a little softer with more give. Still make my toes grip to stay on, (which is why they are called exercise sandles). My tip, loosen the strap and wear with thin socks around the house to break them in before wearing them without socks outside. The buckle on top is a tab, you lift the buckle straight up to change the width.
