Looks terrible
Hello, . The item looks terrible — the material feels very poor, and it appears to have been ironed improperly because it has visible iron marks on it. This is not the condition I expected to receive it in.

My wife ordered a boys XL size yellow polo shirt online. It was too big. I went to Macy’s located at 14006 Riverside Dr, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. On November 19th 2025.. I was able to exchange the shirt for a medium size with no problem. Of course the medium size was too small. I returned to the Macy’s today, November 20, 2025. The woman named Miriam was very friendly, and helpful, at the children’s downstairs counter. For whatever reason, Mariam couldn’t do the transaction, she called the manager. The manager’s name was Tony. Tony told me to go return it at a different location in the store and come back and pay $20 extra for the same shirt, one size bigger. I repeated it to him, “so what you’re telling me, is I came here yesterday and exchanged the same shirt for a smaller size with no problem. I come today, and I want one size up and you want me to pay $20 extra, Tony replied, “yes”. I said, “that doesn’t seem fair to me”. Tony said, “that was yesterday, and this is today”.

In-Store Pickup Gone Wrong
I had a frustrating experience with an order I placed through Macy’s. I selected in-store pickup but never actually picked up the item. Despite this, the store marked the order as “picked up,” which is completely inaccurate. When I contacted customer service, the issue was not handled as smoothly as I expected. It’s concerning that an order can be marked as collected without proper verification, and it caused unnecessary stress trying to resolve something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I hope Macy’s improves their pickup verification process and customer support response, as this experience has made me hesitant to use their in-store pickup option again.
