Gucci The Alchemist's Garden reimagines the four stages of ancient alchemy. The Substratum stage: A Reason To Love Eau de Parfum. Master perfumer Alberto Morillas uses Damascena rose and oud wood accord to create this woody, rosy scent. Resinous. Rosy. Sensual. A deeply resinous aroma with a heady rose accent that brings sensuality and warmth. The fervent fusion of carnal Damascena rose meets with a profound ambery oud wood accord inspired by a substrate drawn from the trees it originates from. Olibanum resinoid, which is macerated in a solvent before it is extracted, drives its smoky opulence, as do its essences of myrrh and styrax. The black bottle reflects the resinous, rosy concoction within. A solar totem known as the sun in splendor seals the scent with a symbol of passion, vitality and everlasting sensuality.

Oud/Rose done right

Tried this and loved it however I've got several in my collection that are similar enough I didn't need this one. Truly it's lovely though. Sweet fresh rose and medicinal clean oud stand out and really shine. It's very well done and if you don't love either rose or oud this puts them together in such a way you may be surprised.
