Beautiful in it’s simplicity

Nicely made. Super light weight cotton. Not see through. Lined skirt. Beautiful in its simplicity. Returned it because after trying it on..it seemed too young for me.

Nice summer dress needs tailoring

Yes it is long, the description clearly says ankle length or longer, it is nice to be tall and able to wear heels! 51.5 inches in size small and another half inch longer each size up. So don’t be surprised when you see how long this dress is. It is lightweight, and the yellow was flattering color. It is difficult to find the best place to tie the neck and get this to give a proper fit at the bust. Seems like this was made for a specific body type seeing several similar comments. I envy those that have seamstress skills and could alter this dress themselves, did not like it enough to pay the tailor. If you are lucky, this will fit your body off the rack.

Weird neckline

I like this dress but buyers should be aware of a few things. First it is very long. I am 5’8” and it falls at or below my ankle. Second, the neckline is cut funny so when you tie it, the fabric gaps. Also the straps are one layer of a very thin fabric and seemed to be fraying at the point where they attached to the dress. Third, the fabric is really gauze-like so it doesn’t hold shape, making the back of the dress sag at the top (the touching). I solved these problems by cutting off the straps where they attach at the shoulder, folding them in half lengthwise and sewing along the edge, then attaching the wider end at the shoulder and to the dress at the back in an x. This made the neckline lay flat and stopped the back from sagging. So if you are tall and can sew, this is a nice dress!

Classy, elegant dress

This dress is really classy and elegant, and can be dressed up for a formal occasion or dressed down for something more casual. Plus, it’s cotton, so it’s cool! It fits perfectly, and I love it!
