Strangely Designed Dress.

This dress looks pink on Macy's website. It is not pink at all. It's pale taupe. At the waist, the belt loops and fabric belt are placed at the natural waistline, but the fabric is cut so that it swoops down about 3 to 4 inches in the front and the back. The fabric is cut in an upside down horseshoe shape, so that the line of the fabric swoops down 3 to 4 inches from the belt/natural waistline. Where it's sewn, the fabric puckers in places, which makes this dress very unflattering. Also, this dress looks like a shade of lovely pale pink on Macy's website. It is not pink at all. It's a bland, pale taupe with light blue and brown spots. Vince Camuto has become a very hit or miss brand. A decade ago, I could count on VC for well-made, beautifully designed clothing. Not anymore.

Elegant Simplicity

I initially purchased this dress because I needed a pink/blush outfit. I was disappointed when the dress arrived cause it wasn't the color I needed but, I tried it on. The dress is beautiful and different (in a good way). If is definitely a keeper.
