Fit Not Right
I am a petite small and this dress was way too big. Very broad shoulders and heavy fabric.
1950’s Retro!
Too retro! This dress is straight out of the 1950’s with boxy shoulders, straight lapels and a diamond bow at the waist. i still have my mother’s diamond bow pin, which is the real thing. I loved the bright color, but this dress seems out of style for today’s women.
Defective item
There is a miss stitch in the dress. It doesn't lay right...there's something wrong with the drape. I'll be returning it.
The Magic Dress: Nothing OR Double!
From my online purchases record, it is easy to see that I am a big fan of KLP - His dresses are very reasonable, always well cut and easy to wear. This time, however, I am encountering a problem with the cut of this garment at shoulder level. Between the base of the shoulder and the start of the chest there is an unwanted big crease which takes away a lot of the chic and makes it less than common. Because I like the rest of this Jacket Dress, I have decided NOT to return it ... something I very seldom have to do but shall try to fix it by wearing little detachable shoulder pads held by my under garment when wearing it. No sewing required and it should pull up that unwanted crease. Alternatively, it can also be worn unfastened for a very casual look over a tight little black dress, with moderate shoulder pads, made of a thin fabric. All in all, I really love KLP!
