Super cute but no volume control

I got this as a gift and love it. My only problem, which is why I marked off a star is that it says the volume can be adjusted but I cannot for the life of me find a way to do that. The directions don't say and there are no buttons. When it comes on it is very loud so I have to run out and turn the sound off daily. Other than that it's adorable and we get lots of compliments on it.

Cute but...

I really want to like this like my other purchase of the giant spider on Halloween but for this product it doesn't matter how I placed it, the grinch just climb a little bit then it stop climbing completely with the grinch light off. Worse purchase ever!
