Strong perfume smell

I’m not sure if they sent me a used returned item, but the smell is so strong. I gagged several times when I was trying it on. Maybe if it wasn’t for the smell I would have tried a little longer and maybe I would have like the fit. As I am writing this, the smell still lingers in my brain even though I have put it away in a box.
