Stunning!

This dress is stunning! The photo does not do it justice. First, the color is like fine wine. It is a raspberry color, not a rust red color as it appears online. Absolutely gorgeous color. In natural light it is very much a berry, but indoors it is like a deeper wine color but you can see the raspberry in it. Also, I am 5'8" tall and the dress hits the floor even with 2.5" heels, and I will need to have it tailore up a bit like maybe 1/2" Finally, I wear a size 10 pant but my upper body is a 12. I bought another Donna Karan dress in size 12 and it was very tight, so I went with a 14 on this dress and it is very loose. So a bit more tailoring but so worth it. Typically Donna Karan formal dresses run a bit small; I'd say this one is rightly sized. Additionally, the waist fits at my natural waist while other formal dresses are sometimes a bit short on the torso so this one works for taller women. The sheen on the dress is subtle, so looks like a matte satin. Very pretty!

Arrived worn with stains

Ordered for a NY wedding and was excited about the color. But when it arrived, it smelled, and the entire bottom of the dress was water-stained. It had been worn and returned for sure. The color is pretty. The material is heavy but nice. But I will be returning.

Fits like a glove- true to size! The color looks wine in the picture but is actually more pink.
