Zero comfort, moderate pain - good control

The control of this bodysuit is excellent; however, the straps - oh the straps! - are the worst! How are people wearing this all day without cutting into the fronts of your shoulders? I have worn the wide strap bodysuit (the 1856) for over 10 years and can’t find it anywhere in my size (assuming it’s discontinued?). I’ve been a loyal supporter and advocate of Maidenform’s shapers, but not being able to find a comparable product to the one I’m accustomed to is driving me to explore other brands.

Fits well

I purchased the Maidenform Firm Control Ultimate Instant Slimmer in size medium, one size larger than I would usually try, and it fits very tight but I will tolerate the squeeze, as it does cinch me in and smooths. I'm 5'3, 140, and it seems to fit like it should. If I succeed I losing a few pounds, it should still fit. I just better not gain any more !! I seems very well made. I like the open bust design and the full back coverage.
