Poor substitute for the blue herbal astringent

Awful substitute for the blue astringent lotion. As others have mentioned it is sticky and leaves an oily residue after use. Not refreshing at all and haven’t seen any improvement on my skin since using it.

Not happy at all with this

The blue herbal astringent has been sold out for a while - I'm hoping it's not being discontinued. I ordered a few bottles of this thinking it would work the same. Skin feels very sticky and oily as a result. Will be returning these.

I keep coming back

I’ve been using this toner for many years and always come back to it after trying other types of toners. I have combo skin and am quite acne-prone on the lower half of my face so I use a prescription topical that dries me out. This toner is as excellent on my very dry areas as it is on my oily areas where I have large pores, like it was made for my face. There is no remaining residue or funky smells. I use it twice/day after washing my face with washable cotton/bamboo pads and my face gets so clean without any stripping.
