Oscar for Life

I started using Oscar when I was 25 yrs old. I'm 70 now... I've had hundreds of compliments on "what are you wearing that smells So Good." I Never Go without a Bottle of Oscar dela Renta. It's a Staple in my life.

Macy dissapointment

Always has been my wife's favorite so I went into the Mayfair Milwaukee Macy store yesterday to buy her a valentine present of 3.4 Oz Oscar Eau De Toilette. Well they only had 1 sealed 1oz and said they don't carry it because Oscar is "out of business now". I asked why it is available on the Macy website and they had no answer. Finally convinced them to order it for me so I would have a receipt and they did but said it would be coming from a Chicago store that had stock. Very poor business practice however with the 3rd party counterfeit product available through Walmart and other's on the web if I do get it hopefully it will be authentic. What's up with Macy in Milwaukee?

Change not necessarily good!

A bit disappointed actually. I had purchased this product many time in the past and love the scent, mainly because it reminds me of my mom that passed several years ago. I received the package on time, however once I opened it, the flower on the top of the container was broken off along with a crack in the top. Since the flower is used to open the container, I had to bring out the super glue and reattach. Then, I opened the powder only to find they the scent is different!! I guess someone decided that change is good, but not necessarily so. It's rather bland, not the same. I'm sure of that because I had a tiny bit left from the last and there is a definite difference. Due to the expense of the product, I generally use it very sparingly and more of a special occasion, but this doesn't warrant the high regard I had for it in the past. It is just very disappointing, to say the least.
