pretty but very thin

The rug is very pretty & the colors are as described. But it is so very thin! When I walk from bare floor onto the rug, it feels no different. It feels like no softness or cushioning is underfoot. My other throw rug from Macy's is thicker & plusher & feels softer than a bare floor when walking on it. Very thin & flat, but pretty.
