searching for youth dew

I have been using the Youth Dew fragnance for ages, but iiis getting more & more difficult to find it here in Athens, Greece!!! What a pity the pretty blue bottle never came here, and the bath oil, stopped coming ages ago!!! So I have to travel to other countries and search for it, often with no success!! I do not understand why it is not available in Europe any more ????

What happened?

I wore Youth Dew for years - starting in my 20's. It was my "dress-up" perfume and I loved it. When I saw that lovely little blue bottle I had to order it again. I was so disappointed that it didn't smell the same. Why change something as classic as Youth Dew? New and improved is not always better!

Ironic Name

I'm usually good at selecting perfumes based on the brand, the name, and the description. This is actually the first time I was shockingly wrong about "Youth Dew" If you're thinking, young, fresh fragrance, think again. This could not be further from that. I'm in my 40s and this brought back memories of the old women at church back when I was a child. Maybe they're being ironic with the name?? Luckily it's Christmas time and I know plenty of older women who may love it.

What’s that awesome fragrance?

I haven’t worn Youth Dew in many years but I’ve always loved it. I had used it just before my 16 yr old granddaughter arrived home from school. Her reaction was “oh wow, Mammaw, that smells so sooo good! Can I borrow it to wear for HOCO next week?”
