Poor machine

The machine wasn’t working properly. It started leaking from the water tank side, which made it messy and hard to use. Definitely disappointing considering the price.

New Barista Express machine

It's been a few weeks using the new Barista Express. I've used a similar Breville machine that lasted over 15 years without being serviced. But, this new Barista Express runs well. I like the built in grinder that's not to loud. When I do 2 shots...the machine is a bit louder than I would have expected, but it doesn't wake anyone up...lol :-)

Best machine

We originally bought this machine 11 years ago and used it every day (sometimes multiple times a day). Only needed to get it serviced once in the 11 years. One of the internal components on that machine recently died and instead of getting it fixed we decided to purchase a new one. After tons of research, nothing else in the market compared to the simplicity and quality of this machine. We absolutely love it!

Overpriced and inconsistent

This machine produces coffee 60% of its attempts. The other 40% of the time it gets to pressure but produces nothing but a waste of coffee. I clean it every time, use the same grinds and do the exact same process but from one cup to another it’s a crap shoot. Save your money and frustration and buy anything else.
