A light and airy black dress

The long sleeves of this '1.STATE Women's Long Sleeve Smocked-Waist High-Low Dress' in 'Rich Black" were ideal for my formal music performance occasion, as was the comfortable, slightly loose fit. Still, layers of floaty, semi-sheer fabric, and a high-low hem lend this black dress versatile style, and the smocked elastic waist band is figure flattering. And once again Macy's size guide steered me to a good fit.

flattering and body skimming

This is a flattering and comfortable dress. I do think the shoulders were a bit snug on me in my usual medium, but overall I'm happy with this dress and it will be versatile for dressier functions.

Lovely and classy dress!

This dress is very classy, yet fun and comfortable. The chiffon lays in all the right places and is good at covering up any bulges in the hips and thighs. True to size or even a bit generous. I'm 5"3", 180 lbs and I ordered the large. It's a flirty dress that I plan to wear to a wedding reception by with my fine jewelry. Then for a date night or dancing, I can wear some bold and bright colored jewelry with it. Very versatile! Great find, and great sale price!!!
