Gloves too large, good for someone with large hands.

Advertised as 7" is barely over 6"

I bought these for my husband, which is why I looked for 7" potholders. These are not 7" as advertised in the description. They measure just over 6". One inch makes a big difference to fit a man's hand. I hope that Kitchen Aid fixes this problem. The color is nice, though.

Not heat resistant?

We were very excited to get oven mitts that matched our stand mixer. Unfortunately, one of the two gloves ripped (potentially due to heat?) immediately during normal use and ended up burning my hand between the thumb and the forefinger. Very disappointing.

Thick yet flexible

It’s early yet but so far I am very happy. I took a cast iron Dutch oven from a 500 degree oven and no heat was transferred through the gloves
