Superior Brand 100% Cotton Coverlet

So nice!! Soft cotton coverlet. When I received it, I checked the color first (the Aqua is beautiful; an excellent aqua for me) Then I checked size; purchased this coverlet for a Full size bed but after reading other comments, I ordered a size up (Queen) for shrinking. I washed on cold but I did pull out lint 3 times from the dryer. I love the way it shrank/puckered just a bit. Size went from 102” width x 120” length to 88” width x 108” length. The shams shrank also but still worked with some manual pulling/stretching; the envelope style sham is not perfect but who really sees that? It is Very soft. Very pretty aqua color. And Cotton!! Yahoo!

When i received this, i washed and dried on the coldest settings. It still shrunk.

Not what is looks likes in photo. And leaves lint on sheets. Will probably give to Goodwill. Nice color.

Quality

The sheets are very heavy and not at all soft. I have washed them 3 times and they are no softer (was stated they would soften with washing). I have a home/commercial washer & dryer. I can wash them in the washer, but I have to dry each sheet separately or they don't dry. Very time consuming. They are plenty deep for the mattress, but very difficult to fit to the top - I have to lift the mattress to get them on properly. This lifting is not good for my back! Disappointed, and they had been recommended by someone who has bought them. I haven't asked if his are soft or if he likes them as such.
