MAC Brush Cleaner
It’s works great but it’s pricey for something you need to use often and sometimes hard to get. Your brushes will last longer.

A good makeup artist can change your look.
I use the Mac Brush Cleaner to remove the color of an eye shadow before applying another color. I can also switch from eyeshadow to concealer because it removes the product so well. However, I like to add that without the expert help of the people behind the counter, I wouldn’t know where to begin buying the right makeup. There’s a young lady, Cam, who helped me pick all the right makeup, and how to apply it. I wear minimal eye makeup but was interested in learning how to apply eye shadow and liner, blush, and to hide the enlarged pores on my face with foundation. She showed me how to do that and when I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn’t believe how good I looked! Cam also wrote down the order to apply the different products. I only wish I had done this before. Now I’m ready to go full glam or just apply a ‘natural’ but well put together look. Thank you Cam and Macy’s Dadeland Mac counter!

Brush Cleaner Gold Standard
I love the more watery formula of this brush cleanser, and I appreciate it can even be used on a paper towel for a quick spot clean when I know I'll need to use a brush for something else, ie used for shadow but now want to use for setting under the eyes for a night look. It works well on both my OG natural hair brushes and my newer synthetic brushes.

Fantastic!
I usually just use soap and water to wash my brushes but decided to give this a try. I really like it! It left my brushes very clean and also soft. Highly recommend it!

Doesn’t Clean Thoroughly
I was expecting more from the MAC Brush Cleanser, but I’m disappointed. It doesn’t clean my makeup brushes properly — even after multiple washes, there’s still visible product left on the bristles, especially darker pigments like eyeshadow. For the price, I expected better performance. I won’t be repurchasing.
Worth it
I've never purchased a brush cleaner before, just washed them myself with soap and water. So time consuming. And results are meh unless i spend more time repeatedly washing etc. this cleaner is like magic- so so satisfying. I've dribbled a couple drops straight on my brush after makeup application and then rubbed on a towel and it all comes off it's amazing. Now i really get why people buy this stuff. And it works so well , i doubt I'll need to try another kind. Spend my time on fun makeup purchases instead. 😊 definitely worth it.

I love it
Cleans well and leaves brushes looking and smelling clean. More stubborn and pigmented makeup need a little more product, but it does the job. As with most brush cleaners, however, it does not remove waterproof products. It's a great product for everyday sanitation. Will purchase again.
