Spent Christmas sewing the back of this stuffed animal
This was a Christmas present for my grandson who love penguins he was so happy till he realized there was a large hole in the back of the penguin. It appeared that after filling the penguin no sewed up the fill hole. I spent Christmas sewing up the hole and reassuring my grandson that it would be fine.

All Plastic
This penguin, which we bought for our 3 year old boy, is polyester fabric, polyester stuffing, and plastic pieces. It’s our fault for not noticing this before ordering, not Melissa & Doug’s. When playing with the penguin with my son, I am seeing all these little plastic hairs and particles floating in the air. He’s wrestling with it and hugging it and we’re both breathing all of this in. If Melissa & Doug are concerned about selling things to children that do not cause them to inhale plastic, they should consider replacing these large plastic stuffed animals.
