Adorable puzzle but I bought it because I love the ideas of the animal sounds. Unfortunately this puzzle must be defective. It didn't work. I will return it
Cute puzzle
kids love this puzzle. my daughter loved playing with this as a toddler She loved hearing the sounds of the animals. i bought it as a gift for a one year old.

Broken immediately
I bought two of these puzzles and both of them broke within the first hour. I put new batteries in, but they absolutely don’t work. Cheap.

Here are a few important details to know about our sound puzzles: They’re light-activated, and once new batteries have been installed, it’s best to use the puzzle in a brightly lit room. When you remove a puzzle piece from the board, you’ll see a little circle, which is the light sensor. Depending on the style, once the sensor has been exposed to light, you’ll hear the sound OR when you place the puzzle piece back on the board. If playing with your puzzle in a well-lit room does not make each piece “sound off” consistently, please give us a call and we'll be more than happy to help you. Please have the puzzle nearby when you call so that we can get some information from the puzzle itself. Thanks so much for supporting our company. We look forward to speaking with you soon! I put the batteries in. It worked for five seconds and then broke immediately.

Faint sounds.
Sounds are too faint and there is no way to increase the sound.

I brought this for my niece she loves it! She imitates the animals and she quickly figures out where each animal needs to be placed.
