Control of Ingredients
This machine allows me to have full control of the ingredients of our ice cream. Most store- bought ice cream has way too much junk like artificial flavors, preservatives, colours, and fillers. I'm slowly learning different recipes to satisfy our wants, such as dairy free (using oat milk). It's a learning curve, but all of my experiments have come out tasty, especially chocolate, with the fewest ingredients possible. My machine did not come with a recipe booklet, so that was disappointing, so it's off to google for tips and inspiration. It's a bit noisy, but that was expected, and it lasts but a few minutes. I've learned to listen carefully for when it's done and not gum it up with an overload of thickener. It's a nice appliance for the price and takes up very little room for its advantages.

Easy to use.
I received this as a gift. I also own the KitchenAid 7qt mixer with ice cream bowl attachment. The Cuisinart is easier to use, but louder. Things I have learned from the KitchenAid to carry over to the Cuisinart; Start the bowl first, then add the mixture. When you are done, let the bowl sit out for the afternoon to thaw before cleaning. You do not want to crack the bowl.

Quick and easy ice cream, yes please!
I love this thing! I have had it for two weeks and already made two batches. I keep the bowl is my freezer so that I can have ice cream whenever I want. All it takes is 35 min! I will say it melts faster then the ice cream you get at the store, but it’s because there are no additives, so I’ll take that any day. If you love ice cream like I do, do yourself a favor and buy it. I was between this and the Ninja Creami, but this takes up so much less space. It’s perfect!

The best and easiest ice cream maker. Period.
Perhaps the easiest ice cream maker for the money. Freeze the revolving container, add the custard, and start the machine. That's it. Thirty minutes later, enjoy the best ice cream you've ever had. The motor seems pretty robust. Highly recommended.

Ice Cream Maker
We have enjoyed our first 2 batches of vegan ice cream. My husband can't tolerate dairy and non-dairy ice cream is so expensive. It's a treat to make our own!

Awesome Ice Cream Maker!!!
Honestly, I've had this Ice Cream maker for a few years and never used it. My bad. I finally gave it a try because the one I'd been using for years was struggling to turn when I first turned it on. All the years I wasted not using my Cuisinart... I could have had 2 quarts instead of the 1 1/2 quarts my other machine made. I could have had ice cream that froze much better that one other machine. I could have had ice cream that finished in a mere 20 minutes instead of the 30 or so minutes my other machine took. What can I say? I love my Cuisinart ice cream maker! Yes, it makes noise, but it's not louder than my previous machine and I'll deal with a little noise as long as I don't have to add ice and salt and stand at the sink while my old fashioned ice cream maker does it's thing. So far I've only made the recipe for vanilla handed down from my Grandfather, but I printed the recipe book and can't wait to try some of the recipes in the book. Thank you, Cuisinart! I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to buy another one of these for our main residence
