Great but could use a better mesh pocket
My kids love these, but the mesh pocket tear after 2 months use (in both backpacks)

Works great for my little guy, reusing next year.
We have had the fossil backpack for 2 years now. My son has used it for pre-k and kindergarten. It has held up through all of his adventures. He is a tiny guy, so the backpack looks huge on him but with the buckle in the front, he manages it just fine. The extra padded straps give him comfort for carrying heavy loads. Which is usually just extra clothes. His folder does get bent a little, so when he gets into higher grades and has to carry more books, it may not fit well. But for now, it works great for us. It has been reliable and functional for the last 2 years. We will be reusing it next year as well. The lunch box compartment on the bottom really helps him have less to carry, which is important. It is also big enough to throw in extra snacks that will not fit in the lunchbox. They do occasionally get squished as there is no support on the bottom but they are just extra snacks and he doesn't mind. We really love this booking.

It's been ideal, it's exactly the light comfortable backpack I had been looking for. I traveled with it last weekend and I was shocked because of all the space it has, it's perfect for short roadtrips and daily life.

Great quality, not great for folders.
Wonderful quality. Used the entire school year and held up perfectly. Does not hold a three ring binder well, though. The bag is not deep enough and you have to fight to get the zipper over the corners. Ruins binders/folders.

Sparkling backpack!
My girl loves her new backpack! Lots of sparkles ✨ easy fit, good space for early grades and the convenience of having the lunchbox combined right on the backpack is an absolute plus!!🙌🏻 less to carry and convenient! Highly recommended.

Cute but small
This is such a cute bag and very well made. But I bought it for my son to take to school and it won’t fit a standard sized 3 ring binder. So disappointed, I really thought since the dimensions were larger than the binder it would work, but the way the bag is curved at the top it won’t zip around it. Super cute though, would make a great toddler or daycare bag.
