Beautiful and Broken

Was so happy to receive these beautiful plates, but knew immediately before even opening, due to the rattling in the box, that they were broken. Unfortunate.

Arrived broken

Love my Portmeirion dishes, but hate the shipping. My plates arrived broken. I could hear the pieces clinking before I opened the box. There was only a little paper in the box to protect the dishes in shipping.

Portmeirion Plates Arrived Damaged

I ordered 6 new Portmeirion plates and the bottom three were broken. The large shopping box had no physical damage. As I opened the inner box with the plates in it you could hear the broken pieces moving around. The inner box from Portmeirion did have damage. It appears that the box had damaged plates before being shipped to me. I filled out and sent in a damage report the next day. In the report I had several pictures of the damaged plates, the boxes, copy of the invoice. It has been almost a week and there has been no response from Macy's. Very disappointing ! I guess I will have to bring them to a local Macy's and try to return them or get replacements for the damaged ones.

replacements

plate arrived broken, and Macys would not replace it, nor give me a refund on that one plates price. It took four phonecalls to get any finacial adjustments. The 5 plates arrived intact, but differ from my original plates (circa 1980) that I have used daily for the past 40 years

Beautiful Portmeirion Dinner Plates

I have had the Botanic Garden Portmeirion dish set for years and never grow tired of it. I ordered six portmeirion dinner plates to replace some old and faded ones. They came quickly and at a competitive price from Macy's. Very pleased!
