A Smart, Twisty Mystery That Hooked Us All

This was my second time reading A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and this time I shared it with my teen boys (12 and 13) as part of a homeschool book club. At first, they weren’t too sure about it since it’s a bit different from what we usually read together and includes some more mature themes, but they were quickly pulled into the mystery and couldn’t stop guessing who did it. We listened to the audiobook while following along in the physical book, and I highly recommend that experience. The full cast made it feel like a true crime podcast and brought the story to life. It’s smart, full of twists, and such a fun mystery to work through together. Definitely worth the hype.

Got me back into reading!

Lots of twists and turns! Never guessed the ending. There’s a teeny bit of romance in here but not too much. Great read!

Excellent book, keeps you really entertained

Loved this book. I usually don't read much, it's really hard for me to finish a book because I get distracted easily and forget that I was even reading, and normally I get to a point in the books where I just get bored but this book wasn't like that. I couldn't stop reading it, it is so entertaining like I cant explain it, it has everything a book needs to be good. As a teenager I really really really recommend you this book.

PERFECT

This is one of the best books I’ve read. I read it in a day and couldn’t put it down. The plot and buildup is written so well, and the crime being solved is easy to get invested in. If you read this, I recommend reading the rest of the series, because in the end everything will be tied up. This is such a good book!
