They REALLY ARE big

I always ignore instructions to size down 1/2 size because my feet are so wide, I fill up all the space in shoes. But 8.5W, my normal size, turned out to be huge. I am not exchanging them, however, because they have been off-gassing since I unpacked them 12 hours ago, because the soles have no traction, and I don't know if the shoe's pleather will ever develop creases where they should naturally bend as they wear in. Not a fit for me on any level.

Very Poor Sizing

I have tried more three times with this brand and this particular shoe is the second time, and the sizing is really bad - they run short and wide at the heel. I am 7 - 7.5 and typically order a size 7 in sandals and 7.5 in any closed-toed shoe. I ordered the 7.5 in this brand about a year ago, and they were falling off my feet (the heel) so I sent the shoes back and didn't think about it until I saw these pink loafers. I ordered a size 7, thinking they would be fine since the 7.5 was so big last year and they came and I couldn't get them on my feet they were SO tight (short). So, I ordered the 7.5 thinking it must have been a fluke last year but they came today and there is no mistake. They are so wide in the heel they literally fall off my feet when I try to walk. I can typically get a size 7 on and be ok if the shoe runs big but not with these. Too short in the toes. There is no way I could walk in the size 7s my toes were crammed in and I have small short toes so it's not my foot.
