Probably wouldn’t buy again but I love Miele products
My main complaint is that the name of this model is a misnomer- it is anything but silent. It’s possibly the loudest appliance I own. The water tank is also very small for the amount of water it uses. I have to fill it constantly.

Need surge protector.
Great coffee maker. However, the instructions should say that if you have an arc protector on the circuit where you plug it in, you need to add a surge protector to the outlet. Otherwise, it blows the ground fault trigger.

Easy and convenient
Coffee machine is easy to use and set. Convenient for people have a coffee quick in the morning. Water tank is bit small if need brew couple cups of coffee, need refill the water more. Overall I will give 5 stars for the review.

My second coffee machine
I loved my first coffee machine, CM5200, lasted 12 years. Seems this machine is smaller so there is a constant refilling of the water and cleaning the drip tray. But than last month the brew unit broke. Is it possible to get a brew unit for the old machine and what would it cost. Rolf

Don’t do it
My third countertop unit. The previous models were bigger and absolutely better but after a few years they stop working. This machine is too much work, you might get 4 mini cups of coffee before having to add water or empty the 1/4 full waste container. If you select 2 coffees (basically one coffee) we are lucky to get two of them before having to fill the water and empty the 1/4 full waste bin. Very frustrating for an expensive yet decent cup of coffee.

Review of CM5310
I had an earlier version of this model - the older version had a larger water tank - too bad the new version has a smaller one. More difficult to select the drink I want. Also, depending on how high the coffee dispenser is raised, when the machine rinses, the rinse water does not get into the holes for waster water. The higher up the dispenser is, the more likely the rinse water misses the holes and splashes around. Generally I preferred the old version of the machine.
