Frustrated

I purchased today in Midland, TX. The tackle box closure doesn’t work and everything keeps falling out. So frustrating.

So cute I love this little game.

This game is so cute, I got it for my cousins two little boys ages 1 and 3, not sure if they like it but I'm sure they will grow into it.

Lovely pretend play!

I especially love that the tackle box can be used to store/carry everything (the fishing rods clip on). My only gripe is that the “fishing wire” keeps coming off. Needs to be knotted in better.

Fish pieces are not made of wood

My son received this fishing set as a Christmas gift. It is very cute and seemed as durable as our many other Melissa and Doug toys. However, our dog, within minutes of opening the set, got a hold of one of the "wooden" fish pieces and completely destroyed it as it is more of a compressed cardboard material. If it had been made of wood as claimed in the product description and like most other Melissa and Doug toys, it would have been salvageable. So while it is a fun and cute toy, I just don't think it will hold up like other toys of the same brand and that leaves me disappointed.

You won’t regret it!

I bought this to go with the Melissa and Doug Play boat so that my little ones can go on their little adventures catching all different sorts or fishes on the way. I love how it comes with a set for 2 and the rods attach to the little tackle box. Everything is well made and perfect for imagine play. My kids love this and played with it for the whole day.

Great tools for pretend outdoor camping!

My granddaughters love to catch all the fish and then measure them. Then make them for the camp dinner. All the stuffed animals are the lucky campers!
