Glass exploded and almost caused injury

I was cooking sweet potatoes on Easter. I cooked them at 350 for about 45 mins. After I took them out and about 5-10 mins after removing from the oven I placed the bowl on top of the cool oven and used the lid to prevent heat from leaving while I finished cooking the other things for dinner. About 15-20 mins later we heard a loud pop and glass shatter. Thankfully nobody was in the kitchen because glass shattered across the kitchen. The description says it’s safe to 420 degrees. I was nowhere near that and these were cooling off. I did not even have the lid on while in the oven, but that should not matter anyways.

Nice set but one piece shattered

I gave this to my daughter and we were pleased with the set. However, one casserole dish broke before she even used it. She was pulling it out of the cabinet and it just broke into pieces.

Glass Shattered

The box arrived via UPs intact with the contents completely shattered. My preference would have been to replace the item as opposed to completely refund that was offered

Using AH for over 50 years

Big fan of AH for years. The only reason I don’t give this a 5 is because it was a gift and the bowl was broken.

Item did not arrive

UPS said item was damaged during transit and returned it automatically to Macy’s. Manufacturer needs to have better packaging to avoid this as several others have posted about the same issue
