Assumption of long johns

The quality of the material was great,but I made a mistake in buying 3x for my dad..It was way too big as he is not...I was under the impression that the waistband was 3x in stretchy wise & the leg part slim but roomy...It turned out the whole pants was humongous.All of the Macy's stores didn't carry the same pants in different sizes so I had to get a refund & order another long johns in a different size which all of the Macy's stores didn't have any other long johns left & I assumed they had a warehouse to contact & order from there
